Event Time:

Event Location:
Horse Shoe Bend
After a very successful first workshop on how to create seamless pattern repeats we are ready to share the next installment of secrets to creating seamless repeats using a range of different design layouts.
‘Seamless Pattern Repeats’ are designs where you can’t see the line where your design repeats. Whilst they may seem complicated they can be easily achieved using a method that helps you generate this repeat using something as simple as a square of paper. Yes, that’s right, no fancy digital design software needed, just a pencil and paper! This second installment still focuses on the basic technique we covered in our original workshop however we will now step it up a level and look at how you can create different patterns, design and effects by utilizing different layouts within that square. If you missed our first workshop you can still learn the basic techniques in this, Part 2 – Different Design Layouts, whilst also discovering those more advanced areas.
Join me for a morning in the beautiful KZN Midlands where I share this secret with you as we discover how to take a simple drawing or design and transform them into a beautiful pattern. This workshop is suitable for anyone who has a desire to find out how to create their own designs whether for professional, commercial uses or simply for personal achievements. If you can draw a line on a piece of paper, you are the right fit! Your final design can be as simple or as complex as you would like it to be.
All materials and workbook are included in the cost of the ticket.
Tea and coffee are also included with additional refreshments and eats available to purchase from the restaurant. Why not make a day of it, bring a friend and head across to the Horse Shoe Bend Restaurant for lunch.
Please arrive by 9.20am to start at 9.30am.
This workshop will run until 1pm, but should you need to leave from 12pm that is not a problem. I have allowed additional time for those who would like to spend a bit more time exploring the process.
